ZOK MX Gold Standard is a water-based, biodegradable gas turbine compressor and gas-path cleaner that provides enhanced cleaning performance for demanding applications. It is specifically intended for challenging deposits and use in environmentally sensitive locations, including offshore and North Sea operations.
The higher-pH formulation provides stronger cleaning performance than neutral ZOK 27 products. It helps remove oil, dirt, salts and other airborne contaminants from compressor blades, inlet guide vanes and gas-path components.
Regular online and offline compressor washing can help restore compressor efficiency, recover lost turbine power, reduce fuel consumption, lower exhaust gas temperatures and emissions, and extend the service life of turbine components.
ZOK MX Gold Standard has reduced ash and metal content, helping minimize deposits in hot engine sections and reduce the risk of blocked blade pores and cooling passages.
Unlike ZOK 27 Gold Standard, ZOK MX Gold Standard does not contain an added corrosion inhibitor. A water rinse and proper drying procedure should therefore be performed according to the applicable turbine manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.

For hot or online cleaning, use demineralized water with conductivity below 11 µS/cm. For cold or offline cleaning, good-quality drinking water with conductivity below 500 µS/cm may be used, subject to the turbine manufacturer’s requirements.
A water rinse and drying procedure are recommended after cleaning because ZOK MX Gold Standard does not contain an added corrosion inhibitor.
