ZOK mx is a concentrated, water-based, biodegradable gas turbine compressor and gas-path cleaner specifically formulated for heavy-duty cleaning requirements.
Its higher-pH formulation provides powerful cleaning performance for removing carbon, salt, oil, grease, atmospheric contamination, and other difficult deposits from compressor blades, Inlet Guide Vanes, and gas-path components.
ZOK mx is designed as an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional solvent-based cleaners. Regular online and offline compressor washing helps prevent long-term fouling, recover power output, improve fuel efficiency, reduce exhaust-gas temperatures and emissions, and extend the service life of gas turbine components.
Unlike ZOK 27, ZOK mx does not contain an added corrosion inhibitor. A water rinse and dry-out run are therefore recommended after cleaning, subject to the gas turbine manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
ZOK mx is supplied as a concentrate and should be mixed at a ratio of one part product to four parts water, producing a 20% cleaning solution. Ready-to-use versions may also be available.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT DIFFERENCE
ZOK mx has a higher pH than ZOK 27 and is intended for more challenging or heavy-duty cleaning requirements.
ZOK mx does not contain an added corrosion inhibitor. A water rinse and dry-out run are recommended after use unless the equipment manufacturer provides different instructions.
COMPOSITION
A special blend of non-ionic surfactants, organic solvents, and demineralised water.
DILUTION AND DIRECTIONS
Mix one part ZOK mx concentrate with four parts water to produce a 20% cleaning solution.
For hot or online cleaning, use demineralised water with conductivity below 11 µS/cm.
For cold or offline cleaning, good-quality drinking water with conductivity below 500 µS/cm may be used.
Apply using a spray ring or lance during starter-driven offline washing or fired online washing. Follow the engine manufacturer’s maintenance manual for injection quantities and procedures.
A water rinse and dry-out run are recommended after cleaning. Antifreeze should be added when operating below +5°C, following the manufacturer’s recommended dilution.
